My ex was to return property to me and never did. There is a court order to do so but the problem is that I have waited 9 years due to the noncommunication between us.Everytime I would bring it up it started a big fight and the children where in the middle. The court will not issue a contempt motion because I waited so long. What should I do?

Sounds like you may not be able to enforce this. The court system would be the only way to enforce the order. If they will not enforce it than no one will. You will want to speak to an attorney in your area because there might be a loophole or another filing that will get you the results that you seek.
