Very interesting case, speedy trial or due process? Both?
this is a interesting case. and anything anyone would add would be greatly appreciated. I was convicted in 1993 for forgery, I was put on probation for 8 years , I served 6 years without incident. I volated my probation in 1998 for absconding, not a new charge, I was sentenced to 8 years in the indiana department of corrections and was there untill released after learning how to do a appeal, (it was a simple jail time credit issue) I won the appeal, and was released on sept 3 2002. then servred 2 years of parole with out incedent. I was realesed and had nothing, and after 4 years had a 80.000 dollar a year job for 2 of the 4 and then my own business for the last 2. and have bulilt my credit score to 700 to regain my life.. On febuary 28th,2006 I was stoped for a traffic violation, I was informed that I had a warrant for my arrest for auto theft, when the tropper put me in is car on his laptop he said I will call this in but I think they probably will let you go, he said the warrannt was from 1999,well the did not and I was held in the indianapolis jail till the next day, then transported to the county the warrant was, I was released on bail the same day will continue
