Default I've been sophena for court but I refuse to go

I'm just wondering what is going to happen to me if I don't show to testify. I live in Texas and had my sons father arrested for family violence with bodily injury. He never actually laid a hand on me. I know this is always the story but it is very much the truth. I got drunk one night and we got into a verbal fight. I grabbed my keys to leave and he yanked them out my hand. I charged after him and proceeded to jump him to get my keys and I fell face first on the ground. He laughed and I told him I was calling the police. We were fighting because he was using crystal meth daily and cheating. I thought it would be brilliant to get even with him by sending him to jail for hitting me. I didnt realize how serious this would be. He was on parole for burgulary years ago and so this incident makes it bad for his future. He is looking at 15 to 25yrs for something he didn't actually do. I took class called "Project Option" to drop charges but the state picked up the charges.

Now I've been hiding out because the Proscuting Attorney has been showing up at my door many times with a detective. He has been asking my family questions and putting me on the spot. This attorney strongly feels he has a good case as long as I'm in court to put my sons father away for a long time. I've made it clear that I am not willing to work with him and I'm not on their side. I have already made up my mind that I will not be showing up for court this week. I know without me they have no case which is why they have been looking for me. I just want to know if anyone who knows Texas Law, how long would I possibly sit in jail for not appearing? I have never had a speeding ticket let alone go to jail. I just can't be responsible for this guy going away for my stupid actions.
