Unhappy Police illegally ?ed minor son & charges keep changing, what can I do with no money?

My son went in to give a statement to a detective for a burglary where his truck was used w/o his permission & to clear himself.

As I called the detective to tell her I would be late getting there, she asked if she could start w/o me & I said yes. In the next 2 minutes another detective from the drug task force called & told me not to bother going down there, he was going to arrest my son for distribution charges. He then informed me they had an undercover buy of Meth from my son & thay have been trying to catch up with him, so I should just stay home & wait to hear from the DT center.

When the DT Center called they told me he was being charged with 2 counts of Distribution in a drug free zone. The DT Court was set for Friday morning.

On Thursday they called & upped the date to that afternoon. At the proceedings, the charged were read as Possession w/the intent to sell in a drug free zone.

Today at visiting I learned that they told my son they have pictures of him from 2 1/2 months ago selling meth & it took this long to identify him, but didn't show him them.

I need to find some advice to know what to do. It all sure seems fishy to me. Can they really question him wi/o a parent or lawyer there? And what's up with changing the charges??

You are going to need to consult with an attorney. He/She will be able to find out all that went on in the case and will have access to info that you might not be able to see.
