felony assault

on aug. 2 m daughter called me and said her uncle was fighting with her at her home. I drove down to her house. (daughter's 16) Mike her uncle had her down on the ground outside the front door. I pulled up he then got off her. D id u hit her??? I told him we would settle this next time i see you. Mike then said let's settle it now. He came up the driveway and started fighting me. He was trying to throw me to the ground. I pushed him away, my daughter then ran up to him and slapped his face and said "how u like it Mike". Itold her to get in my car. We got in the car then Mike came back to the car and wanted to fight again. As hewas comming I got out of my car and started fighting him again. he tried again to throw me down. I blocked his punch and hit him causing him to back up and stop. I was later arrested for felony assault. I went to court they asked to to plead to 3rd degree assault and pay his medical bills. I asked to go to grand jury asi have my daughters sister present and will destify. Its been 120 days still no grand jury.
