Unhappy Disabled man seeks advice ASAP please

The following is a letter that I am sending out tomorrow to the judge hearing my case this coming up Thursday (November 15, 2007). I am asking anyone who may have some insight on what I can do or who I can get in touch with that can help resolve this mess and keep me from being incarcerated. My lawyer finally called me today about the case and stated that I will most likely have to wear a tether if I am able to go home - why, I ask? I know that I am being misrepresented and this county in question coralled in over 30 people in one night for non-support. Additionally, elections are coming up so I think alot of this is political. Thank you in advance for all of your support!

I am addressing (1) a failure to appear for (2) non-support.

Failure to Appear for Support Hearing:

§ I left a voice message with my court-appointed attorney, "Ernie" several hours before the hearing was to take place. I stated that I was not going to be able to make the 140 mile trip due to lack of transportation – the individual who was to take me was in an automobile accident in which the vehicle was non-drivable. I made attempts to find an alternative ride but was not able.
§ Ernie did not check his messages so he could not relay this information in court which resulted in my having a warrant issued and being picked up by the local authorities, sitting in the local jail in pain without relief and then being transported to the state where the warrant was issued, going in front of the judge who was going to send me to prison (my God, why)? My father posted bond to get me out. I did not hear anything my my attorney until I reached him a week later. He stated that he had been busy with another case and would be over to talk to me. He never even knew that I was back home and out of jail - what is going on?

Non- Support for my two children:

§ Please review the enclosed CESA payments made prior to my disability. I made payments on a consistent basis.
§ Please review the enclosed medical report showing my disability diagnosis. This information was forwarded to the CSEA for review several times. In good faith I submitted all documentation in an effort to have the support reviewed. In addition these materials have been submitted to my attorney and the courts prior to the August hearing and the FTA warrant.
§ I am also submitting paperwork from my disability lawyer. My final hearing is early April. At this time I should receive a settlement that would pay off my child-support arrearages. Again, this information was submitted to the CSEA, my attorney and Court of Common Pleas and Domestic Relations Court.
§ Please understand that I love my children. I wish I could be gainfully employed again and monetarily support them as I did prior to my surgery.
