I've been a member of a certain forum for a few years. A new member was told to stop bothering another member and he would not stop. Then I took it upon myself to try to get this person kicked off by using a fake emailer that allows you to send emails using anyone email address so when you recieve one it looks like it came from someone else. I sent one pretending to be this person to the one he has been bothering and to another person. These were my friends and even thought I did this for them I know it is wrong and I emailed them and told them what I did. I have not heard from them and they blocked my email. Another member has inform me that their isp AOL traced the email to my ip and their looking to come after you. The email I wrote just stated that I (the person I'm pretending to be) am going to have you all kicked of the forum. I could have sent this as a joke and they would have laughed. What is the law state when I pretend to be someone else by using their email address?

The law states that kids should not fool around on forums. If you got kicked off a forum, big deal. It's not the end of the world.
