i received a letter from a New Jersey atty that I MAY HAVE violated certain criminal statutes in an email i sent to a school,
i know what the stautes are and mean three N.J.S.A. 2C:27-3 threats and other improper influence in official and political matters N.J.S.A. 2C:20-5- Extortion N.J.S.A. 2C:27-3 Criminal Coercion they all have to do with an email i sent to a school employee requesting; not demanding they changes some of there decisions made when i left there employment and to investigate other employees as well that i was aware of unethical practices and instant messages that contained profanities (which i told them i would never divulge to the public) we signed a seperation agreement which i feel they breached which allowed me to go to the media, i asked for responses to my request or i was going to the media, not including the instant message i received an email from the attorney saying they would get back to me which they did but with the letter, and stated i was in his opinion of several state crimes..for which i may be..would have to be proved.. i told him i would not accept any scare tactics from him by mail or certified, and it would not be read and immediately destroyed because i was tired of there intimidation...the next day when i got home the letter from the lawyer was in my door. i replied back to them and said after consulting an attorney, the seperation agreement was still enforceable, i said it had not becaused IMO they breached certain area and that i would sign a confidentiality agreement to put the administration at ease that i would never divulge the context of the instant message and to avoid a lenghty trial and public scrutinity because everything would be divulged in court and court cost i agree not to go to the media and drop all my request i believe these were total scare tactics and they worked, and they were waiting to see if anything hit the media which it wont what in your opinion thinks happens from here? how much do you think it would cost them to litigate this kind of matter new jersey be blessed |
