Default First time offender marijuanna

State: Minnesota

Charged with over 1.4g of marijuanna in M.V. ( was the driver).

I was driving the car with my friends, and one of them had pot on them. they got charged with pot and parenphalia and I got charged with over 1.4g of marijuanna in a M.V. (being the driver).

My friend assured me that it was less than 1.4 g, but the officer didn't measure it, so what options do I have legally?

The drugs are in evidence. If there is any question as to the weight, your attorney can ask to view it, or have it weighed again. How would your friend know if the police weighed it or not? Is it possible it was weighed while he was locked up? In any regard, your attorney can challenge the amount if you believe it is incorrect. Details are important, obviously.

Good luck to you.
