My ex and I are battling over a motorcycle that I have in my possesion. The motorcycle is in her name on the credit card, my name is not on it. She didn't cosign for me, she put it on her card. I wrecked the motorcycle in October of '08 and Im still fixing it.
I have made every payment until 3 months ago. We broke up in Janurary and I still made the payments until May. She has not put a penny towards the motorcycle. DMV has the bike in both our names as an and not and or, that way she couldn't sell it without my permission and same as me, I couldn't sell it with out her consent. She is claiming she is going to sue me for messing up her credit. I told her I wasn't able to make the payments and she didn't do anything about it. Does she have a claim to sue me? |
