Default HOA abuse of power?

I was laid off last year Jan, behind 3 mos on HOA dues, was served by an agent for hoa, I appeared in court on date indicated, the agent and i spoke outside the court room, I agreed to make payments, the agent said he would have me put in jail if i did not take care of this, I did pay the judgement however, the agent did not/would not file satisfaction of judgent, nor would the hoa speak with me due to the agent having not informed the hoa of the satisfaction of judgent. I obtained a paralegal's help in contacting this agent (the agent is in and out of the hospital, this delays action when action is needed) all the while i made weekly calls to the hoa requesting an itemized statement of my account of which the hoa would not provide, they would not speak with me saying I needed to contact the agent and that the agent has not given any information to the hoa on any payment(s)...The satisfaction of judgement was filed 7 months later by the agent...however the bill from the hoa never reduced but increased. I now have a bill from the hoa in excess of 6k, I refused to pay the hoa bill due to the fact hoa would not provide an itemized statement. I now have been served a second time for failure to pay hoa dues since november last year (the amount listed on the paper work is $2,400., which I do not dispute)this amount is logical/factual, the 4k the hoa continues to bill me for wich continues to increase is erroneous. The agent for the hoa states I will receive a "seperate" bill from the hoa. Is this true? If I owed the hoa 6k, wouldnt i be sued for 6k?, I think I may be dealing with someone whom abuses his power...Please help, court date is Sept 9.

Thank you.
