This isn't the first time that decisions have made that benefit the members in the gated community, but not the homeowners outside the gate.
My $175 a month should pay for that tree, and yet now they are adamant about cutting them all down. At least 4 or 5 of us outside the community feel that because we are outside the gates we are being discriminated against. How do we overthrow the HOA or form our own separate HOA? | A better idea might be to canvas the members in your association/neighbors and file a joint motion before the assocation at the next meeting, in my opinion. The more that appear in person, the better. Do some research and find out how the chairman & officers are put in place; if by election, then you have your work cut out for you in finding a suitable replacement. Your answers should be readily apparent in your HOA bylaws, etc. It's up to you to decide on how to make the change, but be prepared to invest some time and energy even after thorough research.
Good luck. |
