Default Auto shop issue

My car been in a car shop for little over a year.
I paid the shop some money to install a new motor.
Since my car was there shop so long they lost some of my parts
I asked them to return my car but I just can't get a hold of the shop.
I just wanted to know what are my options Thanks.

Okay..I have to ask..why has your car been there so long? Have you been in any type of contact over the past year? Without a little more detail, it's a bit hard to answer that one, but if all attempts to contact the shop..i.e. visiting in person and sending registered letters fail, you may have the option of a small claims action (in my opinion.) You're out the cost you've already paid for the repair, much less the car itself, but there's a certain amount of doubt here in that this repair/agreement has taken much too long. Why haven't you removed the car if the repairs weren't done according to the original terms? What was the original agreement between you and the repair shop? A little more detail, please?

The reason the car was in the shop so long was because we have done buissness before and this shop has a long list of customers waiting to have their car to be worked on,they just kept putting my car on hold.
We have been in contact over the past year and the Managment keep changing there ,I keep getting the run around.
I have tried to get my car out of their yesterday but the car was locked up
so the tow truck could not get it.
I paid the shop $2800 for a motor and was told it would be ready
in short amount of time about a month

Personally, I'd continue to attempt to recover your car, as you did yesterday. Call a locksmith if you need to in order to get into the car (if that's necessary to have it towed) and get it back into your possession. If you've paid that much money and still have no repairs completed, you can check into small claims court action to try and recover the amount you've already paid and the monies spent in recovering your car. (You can try to include court costs as well, but that may not be reimbursed to you.) If a quick call determines your $$ amount falls within your court's jurisdiction, it's up to you whether or not it's worth your time to pursue it.

Far be it from me to point out, very humbly of course, that instead of calling a LOCK SMITH so the tow truck driver can get into the vehicle, you could save yourself a hundred bucks and just GIVE the tow truck driver YOUR keys before he heads out there next time.

Just a suggestion.

C'mere lil bunny......He's SO cute when his nose twitches like that!!
