Applying for Citizenship

I have been a valid green card holder for many years. I have also traveled alot to my native country. How will days traveled effect me when applying for U.S. Citizenship?

Be careful about traveling too much. I went back to Ghana almost too much to be granted citizenship. I believe the requirement is that you had to have been physically present in the country at least half of the 5 year requirement. You may want to research it just to be sure.

There are many factors that one must meet when applying for citizenship.

These include:

You lived in the U.S. as a legal permanent resident for at least 5 years,
You were present in the U.S. for half of the 5 years,
You are over the age of 18,
You did not make any other country during the time you resided in the U.S., and You have good character.
