Do we have to go back into immigration and present all same-type of paperwork that we did for the green card petition? Does my husband have to be present when I get my citizenship interview? I just want to get all my stuff ready now. I don't know if I should hire a lawyer. I hired one for the green card but in this case many people tell me that it's a simple test and that is all...but I'd like to check and see what experts tell me. More than most I need to know what paperwork I should be holding on to (like bills, credit card statements, etc) for the proof. I don't wanna go into the interview unprepared. Finally when can I apply for citizenship? Is it true that it's 90 days before the 3 years or up? So many people talk and say things but I don't trust anyone but experts.
Thank you for your advice!

The process you are describing is tedious and frought with danger in the sense that one mistake can be permanent. This is a process I would not trust to strangers in the Internet, but only to a qualified attorney. Sure you may be able to handle this yourself, but if you cannot, the outcome would be tragic. This is one thing for which a good attorney really should be hired.
Good luck.
