help please!!!

i filled out a citizenship with a paralegal. at first she said she was a lawyer but she wasn't. Well she told me if i wanted things quicker i 'll pay 500 dollars and the 675 dollars for the inmigration ervices.(She said three months latest) Well it's been over five months. I called her on december and she just returned my calls on january and she told she was gonna check the status of my case or a lawyer would do since she cant. So the thing is that i don't wanna keep on wating and wating. I also know that if the state would have received my check , they would have sent me a letter telling me that my case is in process, but i guess they haven't.So what should i do now??? shold i ask for my money(since i don't trust her anymore?? or wait ?? i don't know please help!!!! or otherwise na i do something about her like fill a claim or something???
