Documentation questions?
So the ONE big thing I have been educated on here about is documentation. I have been somewhat good about doing this with my husbands violence and threats against me...
BUT I was not aware the types of things I should document with my SON. I saw somewhere that someone got custody because of 300 pages of documentation of random activities with the child down to what they ate and wore. It makes sense on the levels of 1 EFFORT (it shows the parent with this documentation cared, payed attention, time spent with child, and the affection of putting together such a document) 2 ACTIVITIES the parent engages in with the child and how the child benefits from this.
I understand the documentation of those levels, and it makes so much sense I cannot believe the idea didnt occur to me on my own. What I dont get is what specific things are looked for here. Its obvious that important stuff like doctors visits, special activities, and things of that sort would be obvious. But what other things should I include?
In my mind I guess the idea is like a journal? Every day write down what we did, and include in every entry, "no contact or request for visit by father."
Any advice/tip/recommendations for documentation?
