Hi everyone,
My b/f's ex was living in another state and started a child support order. She has since moved back here and we were living in different counties. A couple months ago he was charged in the county we lived in for the arrears he had in the other state. We paid those and that county said he was done until she filed support in the county she lives in with his child. Well he just got arrested tonight because the county WE used to live in(not the child) said he owes over 2400.00 to them now for support. She has never lived in that county. Doesn't the child support have to come from the county the child lives in? We are in Michigan, if anyone can help please let me know something. Thanks ![]() |
