My name is Taralynn. Im here to seek advice on a matter concerning my daughter. Her father took me to court last year and won temp custody of her. The judge told my lawyer that because I was single, not in the military, and that I dont live close to my family, that Emily, my daughter, would be safer with her father. Its been almost a year now and I just learned that Emilys father and his wife have split 3 months ago. Emily and her father have been living with which ever relative can take them in at the time. She doesnt have a stable home and he hardly sees her, due to his work schedule. His soon to be ex wife has contacted me and filled me in on the threats and secrets that I have been aware of, which according to the court ordered papers, I am suppose to be notified of. I will be picking her up next Friday for my summer visitation and would like to get an emergency temp custody order, due to the living conditions or lack there of. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
