Help temporary cusdtody!!!

I am wondering what to do. my freind has be watching my god son for the summer, but she has already kicked out her 15 year old daughter from another man. Her and her husband are trying to seperate, but it is getting violent. They are both drug abusive and CRAZY. Am trying to get temporary custody papers signed by her for school year.

If she signs them does that give the husband all rights to child?

Who is the child to your friend? Your god son, but is it her natural son? How old is he? Is the child hers and her current husbands? If so, she cannot "sign" the child over to you--at least not without the husbands consent ( if the child is his).

If there is abuse going on, the best thing for you to do is to call the Department of Social Services and make them aware of your concerns. You can so do anonymously if you wish. To believe there is abuse happening and to do nothing but wait for it to get worse is a crime. Report it today--and let the authorities decide what is best for the child.
