Confuse to claim

Hello friends,
last months I travel by my car with my family. and got accident by mini truck. I and my wife have little injury. I am insured by personal injury and also we have family policies too. so can we claim for both. please guide me.

I don't know what you mean by you have a personal injury policy and family policy. Call your insurance company and they can tell you how to proceed. If it was the other drivers fault, his insurance will pay.

Even if your insurance policies are written by two separate companies, you will NOT be given double payments unless you fail to fill out the "other insurance" line... and if you fail to tell the truth there, they can sue you for insurance fraud. Likely though is that they will just demand reimbursement... and you might not have the money by then... Would you like to risk fraud charges and potential bankruptcy just to try to collect doubly for a single injury? Honesty is your best policy.
