Hello.
I was rear ended in Ohio, but I reside in PA, in March of 2008. I was not at fault. -Experienced lower back pain. -Visited family doctor. -Referred for xray, showed nothing. -Weeks later, still experiencing lower back pain. -Referred for MRI -MRI read as herniated disc, L4/L5 -Sent to Physical therapy for 3 weeks -Caused more pain -Referred for Discogram/Discography -Test results proved positive, L4/L5 & L5/S1, herniation causing pressure on nerves - Had IDET procedure (Intra discal electro therapy), disc penetrated with catheter and heated to 194 degrees to kill nerves in L4/L5 & L5/S1 discs - I have obtained an attorney. I would like to see if anyone has an idea what my settlement should breakdown to. Im asking so I know if I am getting a fair settlement or getting taken for. Thanks! |

You have evendence of your pain and suffering via the medical imagry. No one on this forum can advise you or estimate your claim with so little knowledge of your case, i.e. pre-existing condition, loss of wages, pain and suffering, etc. Only your lawyer can help with this, if they are any good. My 2 cents is to forget about looking forward to getting compensated for your pain. It is "intangeble" and "unmeasurable" for the most part. Look at getting compensated for wages and compensation lost, medical expenses, and some pain and suffering. Then get on with your life! If you can't then there may be some other remedy. Good luck! |
