sold buisness

I was wondering ,I was in buisness with one other idvidual,in april i opted out,it is a s-corp.i filed the amended articles of incorporeration.and had the remaining person sign forms declaring him as being responsible for any past or future debt the company might have.we had signed 3 personal guarantes, when we started.when i left we did not owe anything to any of them.my question is should i have done any thing different?
