Smile black powder

Hi

I am looking into making a new product that would need some type of fuel to burn real hot for 5-10 seconds. So far I have experimented with black powder and that seems to work good. My question is are there any laws that would prohibit me from producing a consumer good that would have a small amount of black powder inside of it, or something similar to black powder. If there is anyone out there that can point me in the right direction I would be very thankful, thanks!

Hello Josh,

It sounds like you may need to have a good amount of this stuff around to produce your product. Most all states require licenses to possess larger amounts of explosive or flammable materials. You are going to need to be aware of all saftey standards and will be checked out periodically to make sure your facilities are secure and up to those standards.
