A Finance lease is a type of lease - the other being an operating lease. A finance lease (highly similar to a capital lease) effectively allows a firm to finance the purchase of an asset, even if, strictly speaking, the firm never acquires the asset. Typically, a finance lease will give the lessee control over an asset for a large proportion of the asset's useful life, providing them the benefits (and risks) of ownership.

Thumbs up RE : Equipment leasing

A lease is a contract in which the leaser gives the leases the right to use an asset for a specified period pf time in exchange for periodic rental payments. The leasee is a tenant or renter. Examples of assets frequently acquired by lease include automobiles, building space, computers, and equipments.

Many individuals, groups and institutions are being developed very lately involved in leasing various types of assets as an important source of financing. People rent houses and apartments, and even furniture. Business firms rent stores, offices, factory buildings, and ware houses.

Isn't it AMAZING how these succinct "questions" are conveniently "answered" by a SPAM link?

What good does it do to have terms of service if no one is actually enforcing it? It would be great if the ADMIN worked as hard editing the SPAM as she does editing ME.

Just sayin.

Why Graceless, haven't you noticed that at least half of us would like to DELETE you. The other half are far too polite.

YOU are the reason spammers profilt----this isn't a legitimate poster--and it is against the terms of service to post links in your signature--surely you READ that? They make up questions and then answer them with spam links which often contain viruses. Only you would jump the aid of a spammer. Too funny. Go ahead, hunny, YOU click on it first. <eg>

Yet another posting whose sole purpose is to focus on me.

Thank you, thank you.

*curtsey*

Just call me Marsha. Marsha. Marsha.

Funny thought for ya---you presume to speak for half of over 12000 members on this site---(whoaaa) who want to delete me. But, you have YET to avail yourself of two huge options--

1. IGNORE ( promises, promises)

2. DONT REPLY.

You say you are doing both, and are, obviously doing neither. Cam't get enoughhhhhhh of meeeeeeeee. LOL LOL

Just because you don't like me, and you think I am 'mean' doesn't mean I'm not right. Bites, doesn't it?

Feel free to avail yourself of IGNORE or NO REPLY. Can't help yourself, eh?
I know. I get that a lot. LMAO

I often get computer/ equipment leases with a clause to purchase for a dollar at the end of the lease... usually a 3 year lease. In that way, you really are leasing with purchase option. It makes a lot of sense if you get a good rate or if you are a startup and can't afford a large immediate payment. Car leases are set up much the same in today's market. But they usually build in a second profit in the buy provision, so watch out for that.
