Exclamation Ex wife is filing bankrupty on something they had both names on he was never removed!

A great friend of mine is in a really big bind right now. He got divorce about a year ago and his Ex wife was granted the Dodge Durango and he was granted the Jeep Wrangler...well he went to get his name off the durango and they told him no because she could not get the credit for refinancing...Well, now seems she has managed to get a $10,000 motorcycle for her new boyfriend, and has managed to get 2 more rigs (leasing I dunno) any how she is going to file bankruptcy on the Durnago his name is on because he could not get it off for some reason or another, but not on anything else....The bank has been calling him despite everyone telling them he dont have it she does and she is responsible for it according to the divorce decree....What can he do to get out of this mess and get the bank off his back! Any help would be appreciated. There divorce was done in Arkansas, He recently moved to Washington, she is still in Arkansas with the Durango! any advice people or referrals.

Sounds like you may want to file a motion with the court to determine what needs to be done. The court can order one party or the other to do something specifically. If the court orders his ex to remove him from the vehicle and she does not the court can impose damages and your friend can show the bankruptcy court the order.
