My friend has received a huge bill from her medical insurers, which she cannot pay. They are threatening to sue her. She has a mortgage on a condo, and she fears they may go after her property and put a lien on it. Can she do anything to keep them from getting to the property, like forming a corporation, and having the corporation 'own' the property, so the insurers cannot legally touch it??? They will still sue her, but the condo is safe, is this possible??
