My ex-wife's bankruptcy
My ex wife filed bankrupt. She agreed in our divorce she was to pay my father for $10,000.00 he loaded to us for a down payment on a house that she kept. In the agreement in our divorce there was a hold harmless agreement for the 10k. She has since filed bankrupt since then and listed my father and I in the bankruptcy. It's to my understanding that since I have a hold harmless on the 10 k. The bankruptcy can not get rid of the debit and she still is obligated to pay it, but only if I have been harmed. Since my father can no longer go after her for the money he has sued me for the 10 k and got a judgement on me. Now there are 2 problems that the judge presented me. One the judge thinks I had to object to the bankruptcy, before it was over, and the 2nd problem is. My dad's attorney made a mistake on the law suit against me. He put my name as the defendant and him as the plaintiff. But in the wording he didn't change my ex-wife's name to mine and it says my dad received a judgement against her and not me.
I need a case showing that hold harmless wins a case and what do I do about the mistake on the lawsuit against me from my father.
Oh I've already paid the lawsuit off
