Default How Long Before You Can File After A Former Bankruptcy
How Long Is It You Have To Wait To File I Had Chapter 7 Dischaged Acutual Filing Was 98 And Now I Am Sol On My Bills And Need To Maybe File Again

It is no longer 6 years.

The new bankruptcy law requires 8 years between discharges .

Try a non-profit credit agency before even considering a second filing --- once is bad enough; a second time through could really make things rough for you over the next two to three decades (at least!). Explore your options first!

If you feel you need to file now and can't file chap. 7, just file chap. 13.
