Default Costs - How Much For Legal Representation

Hi

I am a newbie with a very specific question.

I am going to court in about two weeks time in order to have a Statutory Demand either set aside or struck out (hopefully) if I am lucky and it goes my way I understand that I can ask the judge to consider my costs. I have done a calculation using the "litigious in person" rule and awarded myself £9.25 an hour for all the research, drafting of letters and understanding the legal jargon etc in order to make myself ready to defend myself. My question is what would I be expected to pay a solicitor to do these things and to represent me in court? If they did the job for me what would be a reasonable hourly rate they would be expected to be paid.

The reason I am asking for this information is to show that by doing this myself I have been reasonable and have not incurred charges that could be considered as disproportionate and certainly less than if I could have afforded legal representation.

Many thanks
