I lost temp custody of her last year to her father because, and the judge told my lawyer that this was his reasoning, that I wasnt married, that I wasnt in the military, and that I dont live close to my family. I have my own 3 bedroom place. 2 very dependable jobs that have me home on weekends and nights. Reliable friends that are all around me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, the answer you receive is only as accurate (and as truthful) as the information you provide.
I can say with absolute certainty that no one in America has lost custody of their child for not being in the military, for being single, and for not living close to their family. I am single ( widowed) , have never been in the military, and do not live near my family and my seven children have never been taken from me. So, perhaps the truth about why you lost custody would be a good starting place if you want an accurate answer. It matters. A lot.
The court has no authority to take children from their parents for the reasons your mentioned.
Be truthful if you want an accurate answer as to how to proceed.
