You are suggesting I need to learn tolerance when you are spending your self professed precious time here sitting in judgment on MY character, telling me to learn to be humble ( how intolerant of you ) as well as attempting to dictate how much time I need to spend in the library? My dear one, whatever gave you the idea that your opinion of either of the aforementioned subjects mattered to me in the least? Rather arrogant of you to presume to comment on either, wouldn't you say?
Your problem isn't with intolerance, pride, or "fake" attorneys who reflect poorly on "us attorneys" (sic). If it was, you would have noticed the self professed "successful litigator" on this thread who is telling people they can waltz into a "legal" courthouse and change (paternity) the fathers name on a child's birth certificate without a court order. Or, perhaps you missed his instruction to tell a poster to call the Department of Corrections and find out if they have assigned him a public defender? If your concern was about the public image of "us attorneys " ( sic), those glaringly incorrect replies certainly escaped your keen notice. Your problem is that I am a woman---obviously--you offered not a single comment to the other poster on this thread ( whew, talk about intolerant, personal attacks)---because he is a MAN. Yet from you--nary a word about ANY of that blather that really DOES reflect poorly on "us attorneys" (sic).
Lord deliver me from another "Yes, dear, whatever you say" sexist insecure man. (Would this be a good time for me to offer pure unsubstantiated speculation on your kids? Have you even seen them today? You DO remember the kids, don't you??) Sorry--I wasn't sure how to work unrelated comments about your personal life into a posting on a LEGAL forum with the same skill and finesse that you exhibited.
Also, the grammar and spelling of the posters isn't the issue. It becomes an issue when people like YOU, or the other "successful litigator" on this thread, waltz in, waving your "I'm superior, yet cannot compose a grammatically correct sentence, shouldn't YOU be using your time at the library studying" banner which clearly displays that the only arena in which you are superior, is in your own mind. THAT is my issue with the spelling and grammar references.
And, you missed my point. The point wasn't your absence--the point was ( yet again) the fact that when you DID spend time here, instead of choosing to answer any one of the number of questions waiting to be answered, you criticized ME for doing so, overlooked glaringly incorrect legal "advice" posted, and decided to focus on first, how I spend my free time, and now, my personality. Your only posting in this LEGAL FORUM in six months is to criticize MY personal life, personality and even more shockingly, how many hours you think I should spend in the library?? And I NEED TO LEARN HUMILITY? Who told you that your opinion mattered in the first place, Skipper? (puzzled look)
Rest assured not only is your opinion of me irrelevant to this forum, it is as immaterial to me as my opinion of you should be to you.
Come down from your self-imposed lofty heights and answer a few LEGAL questions with some of that valuable time of yours instead of attacking those of us (not WE) who actually do---well, that is, IF you are done at the Library, yanno. If you cared at all about the law, or even the purpose of this forum, you wouldn't have to be TOLD to focus on the glaringly incorrect information being shoveled out by the other poster on this thread, by a MAN posing as a "successful litigator" who is misleading "clients without higher educations and without perfect spelling and punctuation". Frankly, I am surprised that your base urge to offer your negligent opinions regarding my personal life wasn't completely overwhelmed by your exhaustive concern for the down trodden. Shocked, really, I am. No, seriously.
Rescue them, Counselor. Not me.
