What does over 90% of cases being plea bargained have to do with a CIVIL LAWSUIT regarding SECTION 1983? You cannot PLEA BARGAIN a CIVIL case. AND how can it be SETTLED out ( or in, for that matter) court without the parties UNDERSTANDING THE LAW regarding the same?

You think that because cases are settled out of court, the poster isn't entitled to UNDERSTAND the LAW that GOVERNS not only the case, but the OUTCOME, whether it goes to trial or not?

Being ACCURATE isn't "sorting". The law is about PRECISION and ACCURACY. If a courthouse is historical, or being in use at the moment, it doesn't CHANGE the fact that it was USED or IS BEING used for the same reason---LEGAL reasons. Do you really think it is important to tell posters to go to the courthouse that is being USED and not the one that is a MONUMENT or TOURIST attraction to have current legal issues resolved? <gawd>

IF a court house is "retired" (i.e. no longer in use) it is STILL a LEGAL courthouse----its PURPOSE hasn't changed. It doesn't become a MEDICAL courthouse or an EDUCATIONAL courthouse. It is STILL related to LEGAL issues. How poorly done of you not to acknowledge yet another insipid remark.
