I was convicted of indecency w/child in 1985 ( my son) and 1991 ( my daughter) . I have had regrets on what life I created for them from my actions. I did 33 months in state prison gone through rehab and taken lie detectors. I have been told that if anyone can succeed in life after what I.ve done I can. The parole officer Ms. Miller in Fort worth and my counselor Kranz in Fort Worth ( over *** offenders rehab) said that I can go on with my life and that I can get married and start a new Life which I have ( I've been married for seven years and have a 5 year old daughter). The problem is now I am between finding a job and my criminal record keeps coming up. I was told through a registration office that since I haven't done any wrong for so long that I should be able to get my record cleared from the employers and not have to register. I am having a terrible time now unemployed and every time I go for an interview my background comes up and that's the last I here from anyone. Can anyone help with this with any legal advice.
