I checked out the State of Wisconsin Circuit Court forms I need to fill out to dismiss the judgement. Unfortunately, these forms require the plaintiff to sign off on it.
Anyone had a similar situation, or know how to do this without hiring a lawyer. It's such a small amount that it seems like such a waste.

Find out whomever is reporting the debt to the credit bureau and contact whomever that may be for payment. The same thing recently happened to me with an over ten year old debt my husband had for less than a hundred dollars that was filed against his estate. However, the original creditor had no knowledge of the debt, and the only way I resolved the issue was to contact the credit bureau and find out the exact party reporting the debt as being delinquent. If you find out who it is, ( or even if you do not, for that matter) and contact them, and they had no record of it or cannot provide you with proof of the debt, then I would file a dispute with the credit bureau as challenging the debt as being invalid. THEY, surely, will be able to find out who the creditor is, if you cannot.
