My wife, before we were married, had a judgement for $116.40 from a finance company which got bought out by another, which was then taken over by Citibank. I need to clear this debt in order to refinance my home. She has called Citibank and they have no records of her debt. I would be willing to pay it, but there's no one to pay. I checked out the State of Wisconsin Circuit Court forms I need to fill out to dismiss the judgement. Unfortunately, these forms require the plaintiff to sign off on it.

Anyone had a similar situation, or know how to do this without hiring a lawyer. It's such a small amount that it seems like such a waste.
