Is there anyway to object chapter 7 filing? Someone took a really substantial amount of money claiming he is starting a business, got lot of money from several people, sold his property, moved his family abroad and used it to settle there. He still works for a US company and is well paid. He went ahead and filed chapter 7. He claimed the business didn't make any money. It is real estate so the asset was still available to give back what he owed. Is there anyway to get all or portion of the money back? I can provide details if it helps.
