I live in California and am on disability. The first six months, I was on short term disability and all was fine. But a month ago, I went on long term disability and my company terminated me.

I still get group rate on my benefits for the next two years, but everyone tells me that they were wrong to fire me. I'm sure my friends have good intentions but am I wasting my time pursueing this?
