More Police Misconduct
I am wondering, back in 2002 I was arrested for felony fleeing and eluding.I was a quarter mile from the state line,Indiana and crossed it. At that time I was under a lot of mental duress and seeing a pshyscrist who had me on 150 milligram zolofits and 150 milligram trazadones. Anyway after the Illinois Sheriff got me pulled over ,actually I got to my house, I got out of my truck and surrendered. I was immediately tazed numerous times,3 in the chest, and taken to hospital for blood test. In all the tazing and all they somehow broke my left leg and wouldn't treat it,I was in jail with my leg swelled up to 10 times it's regular size. I do have picture's of it taken by my lawyer. So when they got me to jail and had me in a cell with no video camera's the Illinois cop and a Indiana cop came in and told me one of their tazer barbs was still stuck in my chest and told me I either had to take it out or they would. since I already had a broke leg and they were threating me with more bodily harm I yanked it out and threw it down the drain. Since it has been so many years now, and there is no evidence of how I was treated, do I have any recourse? My leg bother's me a lot now, I don't have insurance so I was never able to have it checked out by a Dr. I would like to some how be able to sue both police departments involved. thanks
